Salchert Meats is a true family operation with deep local roots. In January 2019, Jeff and Katie Fuhrmann—excited to return to their family meat roots—became the proud stewards of the Salchert legacy. Joined by co-owner Chris Greuel in 2020, we remain committed to continuing the tradition of producing the high-quality products that Salchert's has been known for nearly a century.
Proudly located in St. Cloud, Wisconsin, our growth reflects the incredible support from the community. In January 2024, we added a 1,000 square foot extension to our production plant and ended that year with the grand opening of our spacious new retail space.
Here's to the next chapter of Salchert Meats—serving the Holyland region with the same dedication that has defined us for nearly 100 years.
